NEW 2025 LOWS FOR CORN
AUDIO COMMENTARY
We made new yearly lows in May 2023
Funds aren’t buying China headlines
Been cheapest corn in world long time
World still needs big corn crop
USDA Monday: 2 billion bu new crop
USDA: Old crop should show demand
Open planting window bearish short term
Forecasts still call dry moving forward
End users good area to buy corn
Hard to think there isn’t still a story
This market “could” still get cheaper
Fundamentals aren’t different vs 40 cents ago
New crop bean S&D going to be tighter
Dryness will matter soon
I’d say weather scare is over 50% probable
Timing of weather scare dictates size of rally
Inverse leaving signaling not to supply market
Not remotely close to touching wheat sales
Drought in Mexico big for demand
No real headlines pushing us lower. Simply money & algos leaving the market

July Corn 🌽
Still think we bottom somewhere in this blue box.
Could we go even lower? Sure it could happen.
However, the indicators are completely overdone (check out next chart).
As for our next target, the $5.23-26 target is no longer a valid target because we took out the March lows. This is because that initial long term target was 161.8% of the March to April rally, but we are now below the point of where the March rally started.
We will have a new target once we feel like we put in a bottom.
The bottom graph is the stochastics.
They are completely bottomed out now.
There is times such as last June where they can stay bottomed out for a long time while prices continue lower.
However, since finding our bottom in harvest these have marked pretty much every low. Or at the very least been very close to doing so (dotted vertical lines mark every time they bottomed).
Dec Corn 🌽
Holding the March lows still.
The current long term target is still $4.84-89 if we happen to get a weather scare.
However, if we take out those March lows the 161.8% level at $4.89 becomes invalid and we have to find a new one.
July Beans 🌱
We are just barely below the 100-day MA.
Bulls still need to hold that or we probably go down to the red box.
To the upside, we failed to hold the 200-day MA despite having a few closes above it. To confirm the bottom is in, we need to build a base of support above the 200-day MA.
(Check out next chart why a drop down to the red box would not be surprising).
$11.04 is still the current next target.
This is the MACD indicator.
When the blue line crosses below the orange line it is a bearish signal (and vice versa).
It just posted a bearish cross.
The last few times it had a bearish cross it did lead to some downside. Something to be aware of and why a little downside here would not be a shock.
Nov Beans 🌱
Bulls still need to break above the 200-day MA.
It has been our absolute lid, so a break and hold above should bring more upside.
(Just like July we do have a bearish MACD cross. Something to be aware of. Check next chart).
Looking for a bounce in the red box if we continue lower.
$10.78 is still the next big picture upside target.
Here is the MACD.
Just like July, bearish cross as blue crossed below orange.
Last few times it has lead to downside.
Doesn’t have to happen, but it is a sign of potential weakness.

Number #1 mission for bulls is to keep doing it.

Like Chicago, sitting at massive support.
Bulls need to hold to prevent catching a falling knife.
