Could see wacky price action if part of this recent strength is on the back of interest rate cuts. Perhaps buy the rumor sell the fact
The USDA report was bearish yet we are going higher
Think USDA comes clean in January
If crops are getting smaller prices should go higher
Don’t love the price action in cattle, still like keeping hedges on and using proper risk management
Will cattle follow stocks lower if we sell off due to interest rate cuts being built in?

Dec Corn 🌽
We broke above Friday’s highs.
The chart looks good.
Still eyeing $4.35 to alert a sell signal.
$4.35 gives back 50% of the February highs.
It was also some key support back in spring.
Nov Beans 🌱
We closed above the 61.8% retracement up to the recent highs from the recent lows.
This was a big deal and tells us this bounce is more than likely not a correctional bounce.
Essentially, it gives us confidence that there is a good chance we go test the highs now.
Dec Wheat 🌾
This is arguably my favorite chart in grains.
We got the falling wedge breakout.
We are up against a major level here at $5.35
If we break this $5.35 level I think we have a very clear path to $5.52 before finding any real resistance.
